It is with great sadness that we lost Skye recently, we would like to thank Mandy for her support and friendship brought about by this fabulous dog. Those of you who remember her will remember the lively willing dog that she was, always ready to please no matter what.

Skye is our foundation bitch and a fabulous introduction to the breed. Skye did a lot of winning as a puppy at open shows and was consistently placed at Championship show level. Since her puppy career she has only been lightly shown due to time commitments and showing her son Corsini Nocturne of Dualuse. Last year at the B.S.D.A.of G.B. Championship show Skye came 2nd in open bitch gaining her stud book number and just to prove it wasn't just good luck this year (2000) she won open bitch and went on to win the bitch CC and best of breed.
Skye is a true Dualuse dog and is occasionally seen at obedience shows where she is nearly always in the cards! The weekend following her ticket win at the Belgian show Skye delighted us once again by winning her first beginners obedience at Walsall Championship obedience show.
Skye has not only done us proud in both the show ring and the obedience ring but is proving her worth as a brood bitch. Her first litter to Mallory de Condivicnum at Corsini with Lancetti ( bred for Mandy McLaren as a Corsini Litter) produced the fabulous Corsini Nocturne for Dualuse and her second litter to Ch Corsini Lysander has produced excellent type and temperaments with two bitch puppies regularly shown . In July they hit the ring. Our own Borg (Dualuse Sevenofnine) has not been out of the cards, Yvonne Brasons Dualuse Serendipity at Flambards has had a good start too RBPIS at Bakewell Agricultural society two day show, also graded excellent at the Northern Belgian Shepherd dog club Championship Show, and not forgetting our own and Georgina Proctors Dualuse Secern who at the tender age of five months with her 9yr old owner was invited to join their training clubs obedience display team!
Our thanks to all the judges in both breed and obedience that have placed Skye so highly, but our biggest thanks must go to Amanda McLaren for allowing Skye to come live with us and for her continuing help and advice.
Thank you also to Skye for being such a fabulous character and a joy to work with.
